Concrete Pipe-Cutting Rollers
This job was designed for a drain laying company for safe cutting of concrete pipe. Taking two days to complete, all materials were laser cut and assembled. We incorporated movability and strength into the frame design so that it did not buckle under weight of the pipes. Changeability was key to be able to cut from 600mm to 2000mm. It was also important the final product was durable to last in all weather conditions.
Golf Cart Toolbox
This toolbox was designed for use at a major airport. All aluminum was drawn on CAD, laser cut, and then folded in house. Quality workmanship and attention to detail was incredibly important for this project due to the final product’s exposure to the public. This job took two days start to finish and was entirely welded with a freehand TIG.
Structural Steel Jobs
Residential | 2 Houses | Martindale Lane, Tuakau
In alignment with AS/NZS 5131:2016, this was a an interesting project due to all structural steel being exposed to weather, so we galvanized the steel for 70-year lifespan. Using 7.4 tonnes of steel spread between both, we fabricated two identical units as structures for two homes to sit on. This entire project took two months to complete.
Commercial | 2 Units | Harbourside Drive, Papakura
In alignment with AS/NZS 5131:2016, this was another complex job. As this business operates adjacent to a petrol station, we had to consider the possibility of rotting steel and work around this. These two units, side by side, are now a major pizza chain and sushi restaurant. Sandblasted and painted steel 2 code (standard). Completed in one month using 3.4 tonnes of steel and purlins.
